Yoga therapy is specifically geared toward treating individuals and specific populations with health challenges, be they physical or mental in nature.

  • Alleviating anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and insomnia.

  • Improving cardiovascular health and management of cardiovascular conditions.

  • Palliative-type care for illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, and Parkinson’s disease.

  • Treatment of trauma related symptoms of PTSD and C-PTSD.

Yoga therapy sessions involve one-on-one interaction with a therapist who will be responsible an in-depth intake assessment and creating an individualized treatment plan.

Yoga therapy is a collaborative endeavor and takes into account the multi-faceted experience of the client such lived experience, support systems, ecology of personal identity, living environment, spiritual or core beliefs and day-to day stressors. Treatment plans incorporate a “whole-being” approach to help individuals heal through their own mechanism while incorporating yogic approaches to help improve their quality of life.
